We will help a new gardener on their quest for a great garden or help an experienced gardener take it to the next level!
Our mission is to teach our clients to confidently grow successful ornamental, herb or vegetable gardens. We use labor saving, cost effective, organic based gardening techniques.
About Karen:
Growing up in Niagara County, NY, I developed a love for working the soil very young. My mother shared with me her love of growing beautiful flowers. All of the children were expected to help in Dad’s ½ acre vegetable garden. My grandmother owned a small fruit orchard. The whole family kept the trees healthy and got the fruit to the market.
As an art student I learned color, balance and composition. My schooling and work in construction enables me to read and draft blueprints. I owned and operated a landscape company in Georgia for several years. I became a Master Gardener through the Cornell University Co-Operative Extension.
In addition:
Karen does hummingbird, butterfly, cottage, meadow and natural gardens in addition to traditional gardens.
Karen is also available for interactive presentations for your gardening group.
